Well, I must say that up until Monday i was a complete and utter lazy arse.
I never did any chores around the house (despite the fact that mother mother would continually yell at me until i did, which i never) i couldnt be bothered tidying my room, and to this day its still quite a tip. I despised the inevtiable "Darling, please stretch your lazy hand out just a couple of inches so that you could perhaps grab the salt, then sway your arm to the right and pass it to me." Okay, they don't actually say that, but you get what i mean. Don't you?
And the most important part here really is I never ever, ever did any excercise. At all.
Then i noticed, hmm thats strange. I gained weight.
Well duh.
Because of this (combined witht the fact that all my friends do alot of excersise and theyre quite fit compared to me and i feel like such a blob) i decided: i will do some excercise. So i joined the gym, even thought that meant that precious tenner hidden away in my purse, and im planning to go at least twice a week. (I also started tidying up, that makes me feel great.
)
And then came my friend (lets call her 'jane') called Jane, who is a black belt in karate and a yellow belt in Taekwon-do invited me to join her classes. I was ecstatic.
So im sitting here, filling out the Blackbelt Academy application forms for Taekwon-do, which i will now attent every Monday and Friday, and im thinking; but is everyone else doing some form of excercise?
Do you do excercise regularly? Are you doing the recommended amount (an hour a day)? Or are/were you a lazy arse, like me? If you were, did you do anything to change it?
